Microsoft - 'Plus More Summer

Microsoft had a global challenge that was particularly pertinent in the South African context. As a predominantly B2B brand that had recently acquired Nokia, our task was to bring the true passion of Microsoft to life for a Summer Campaign. We created Microsoft's first ever ATL campaign in South Africa. One that could credibly compete on the ‘cool' barometer. Our insight was based on the fact that in Summer, 'switching off' was important. So the intent was to engage with, and introduce the audience to the Microsoft ecosystem with a range of products and services across devices that enabled a seamless Summer, between work and play.

Lumia, Xbox and Windows were part of the Microsoft product range which allowed consumers to experience a seamless connection between their devices, work efficiently, save time, and capture and share all their summer moments. Giving them more time for everything that they value most this summer. This was the first time globally that Microsoft and Nokia collaborated to align the two brands to one experience.

We created an animated ad that visually shows seamless connectivity between all devices.

Stoyline:
We follow a young character through a perfect summer day having fun using his different Microsoft devices.
His journey changes as he physically moves seamlessly from one
Microsoft device to the next, each device capturing a different summer environment in which he interacts. The plus symbol shown in each scene strengthens the fact that he is doing a whole bunch of things this summer.
